Questions

The things parents and venues ask first

Do I need to download an app?

No. You scan a QR code on the tracker and the Toddle Off page opens in your phone browser. Add your child’s first name, and you are away.

What does it cost a parent?

We are trialling around £5.99 for a full day at a single-day attraction, and a lower daily rate for multi-day stays at holiday parks and resorts. Final pricing is set with each venue.

How is my child’s data handled?

We collect the least we can: a first name, the tracker’s location while it is hired, and nothing else. Location history is deleted shortly after the tracker is returned, and it is never used for advertising or sold on.

What does the child actually wear?

A small, lightweight, water-resistant tracker in a soft silicone holder — worn as a wristband or clipped discreetly to a belt loop or bag. It is cleaned between every hire.

Where does it work best?

Outdoor and mostly-outdoor attractions: theme parks, zoos and safari parks, holiday parks, farm attractions and family festivals. Indoor coverage is on the roadmap.

How does a venue get involved?

We are looking for pilot partners. We provide the trackers, software, signage and support free of charge for a four-week trial, and measure uptake, parent feedback and the effect on lost-child incidents.
